Board of Adjustments Meeting – Public Hearing

In accordance with the Frederica Zoning Ordinance and Chapter 3, Title 22 of the Delaware Code, the Board of Adjustment of the Town of Frederica will hold a Public Hearing in the Frederica Town Hall, 2 W. David Street, on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 6:30PM

The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following variance applications from Michael S. Koppenhaver relating to signage at the proposed 7-Eleven site.

SOLICITATION OF CANDIDATES
PUBLIC NOTICE
MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2026
FROM 12:00PM UNTIL 5:00PM

 

POSITIONS OPEN:

One Council seat with a term of two (2) years
One Mayor seat with a term of two (2) years

Letters of Intent must be turned into the Council starting December 8, 2025 and no later than January 30, 2026.
Town Hall will be open late on January 21, 2026 until 8:00 PM.

Certification of Intention must be filled out online at  https://cfrs.elections.delaware.gov/Public/CertofIntentHelp
and a copy submitted with the letter of intent to the Town of Frederica.

Eligibility Requirements:

18 years of age or older by the date of the election.
Citizen of the State of Delaware.
Resident of Town of Frederica for at least 1 year prior to the election.
Cannot be convicted of a felony.

Absentee Ballots will be available after February 1, 2026 upon request and must be turned into Town Hall no later than March 6, 2026 by Noon.

To vote in the municipal election, you must register in person at Town Hall on or before February 5, 2026.
