**Trash Service Update** 2/24/2026
Date Posted: Tuesday, February 24th, 2026**Trash Service Update** Trash and Recycling will be picked up tomorrow (Wednesday, February 25). Due to them trying to play catch-up after the storm, the trash company will only be emptying Blue Hen cans. They will not be emptying personal cans or picking up bulk items.

Due to the storm, there will NOT be trash pick-up on Monday, February 23, 2026. We will have an update on Monday afternoon as to when pick-up will be re-scheduled.

A loss of positive water pressure is a signal of the existence of conditions that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through back-flow by back-pressure or back-siphonage. As a result, there is an increased chance that the water may contain disease-causing organisms. What should I do? DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using. Alternatively, bottled water may be used. You should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and food preparation until further notice.
