NOTIFICATION OF UPCOMING ELECTION
TOWN OF FREDERICA
The Town of Frederica will be holding an election on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
The election will be held at the Frederica Fire Hall from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm.
1 Seat for Council and 1 Seat for Mayor each with a two (2) year term are up for election.
Candidates for the Mayor Seat are:
- William “Chick” Glanden
- Connie Summers
Candidates for Council Seat are:
- Virginia Simpler
- Adam Wiater
At such Annual Municipal Elections or special elections of the town, every person shall have one (1) vote, provided that he or she:
- has attained the age necessary to vote in an election held under the laws of the State of Delaware;
- is a citizen of the United States ; and
- has properly registered to vote in the Town of Frederica for at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of the election;
- provides proof of current residence; (must live within the Town limits.)
