Town Hall Open until 8 PM today, January 17, 2018.
Town Hall will be open until 8 PM tonight to enable any interested parties to file a notification of candidacy for the upcoming election, per the Town of Frederica Charter: “Candidacy for Mayor or Town Council Each candidate for Mayor or Town Council shall be nominated as follows: a) Each candidate shall notify the Secretary of the Town Council in writing of his or her candidacy for the office of Mayor or Town Council. b) All such notifications of candidacy shall be filed in person at the Town Hall during regular business hours, not earlier than the opening of business on the first Monday of December and prior to the close of business on the last Friday of January.
